From a blank file to amazing Schematics in 4 hours!

BTD house

Hands-on-training in Toronto, March 24th 9am - 1pm

Still using CAD?
You adopted a certain BIM software and finding it too restrictive?
Are you skeptical about what is promised by adopting BIM.

We offer for you to try what is considered the ultimate solution for the Architects and Designers. As the title mentions, we will help you produce a project, from the ground to the Schematics, in just 4hours.

What you will be doing in this training  :

  • Using ARCHICAD, we will model in BIM the Ground floor of a residence, then with our help, complete the model and its surroundings.
  • Extract all the Schematics and more from the model you have just drawn: Plans, Site Plan, Elevations, 3D rendering, Area calculations. The Construction Documents have partially been prepared and we will check what was done.
  • Produce a PDF folder of the Documents produces, produce an interactive BIMx presentation,
  • Synchronize with Twinmotion and produce an immersive design.

BIM Test Drives are an opportunity for you to gain first-hand experience on how to create a Building Information Model (BIM). Many design and building professionals dive into new technology without understanding the workflow and benefits. This is your chance to avoid that.

The only requirement for attending a BIM Test Drive is that you have previous CAD experience and a willingness to learn and embrace this easy to use and powerful technology. Regardless of what software you use for your design, documentation, and estimating, you will find this information extremely beneficial.

THAT SAID, in order to acheive a successful event, we only admit 5 registrants per session. Therefore we need to qualify the applicants. Once you register, we will contact you for a small conversation about what you do and what you aspire to achieve through this hands-on training.

Attendees will receive a certificate of completion, valid for their respective association's Continuing Education requirements.
